After the Phase 2 assessment, the system processes the results. Candidates are informed after the results are checked. If the candidate passes all parts, the system records Phase 2 Completion and a Full Certificate is issued. This certificate shows that the candidate has completed all steps in the pre-Departure course or Skills Pass for Hospitality and Tourism.
The Full Certificate is digital and linked to the candidate’s profile. It is the official proof of completion. It can be used for other processes.
If a candidate fails the phase 2 assessment, they can book a resit under certain conditions and will need to pay a fee.
If a candidate is registered under tourism and is in the process of completing the skills pass course and fails two times, they will not be allowed more attempts for the selected occupation and will need to choose a different job. All results, attempts, and certificates are saved in the system.
However, if the candidate is registered under pre-departure and fails phase 2 twice, the candidate will not be able to select a different occupation and, as a result, will not be able to obtain the pre-departure certificate and as a result, will not be able to obtain a work permit in Malta.
