Candidate Declaration

Please note that by logging into, and using the Skills Pass platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. I declare that the information I have supplied is, to the best of my knowledge, true, accurate, complete and current in all respects. I will promptly inform Skills Pass of any changes of address or any other personal details. Failure in doing so, I agree that my account can be suspended and hence my exams postponed until all is in order.
2. I understand that, unless all parts of this form are completed, my application may not be processed, and I would need to wait at least 24 hours before I can proceed to register again.
3. I certify that I am the person who will be taking the test, and whose name, passport number and address appear on this form and are correct. I also under acknowledge that if I am found in breach of this, my account will be permanently suspended without the possibility of being refunded.
4. I understand that I will not be formally enrolled for the test until full payment has been made. I shall receive written confirmation of my enrolment and other exam-related material, shortly after payment has been confirmed from the Skills Pass administrators.
5. I understand that once the examination has been booked, the full test fee will be charged and no refunds can be considered under any circumstances unless an appropriate medical certificate is provided at least 2 days before the Test session.
6. I agree to comply with any possible local terms , and conditions as well as  any external issues that may occur.
7. I retain the right to request that all the personal data obtained on this Application Form, as collected by Skills Pass administration and provided by myself, be erased without undue delay if, when at the sole discretion of Skills Pass administration, the processing of this personal data is deemed by Skills Pass to be no longer necessary in relation to the research and test development purposes aforementioned. I also understand that personal data cannot be overwritten once an account is fully registered.
8. I understand that unless I present the correct identification, I will not be admitted into the test room and will not be allowed to sit the exam. I understand that proof of identification will be requested every time I am temporarily allowed to leave the test room and wish to be readmitted (e.g. after going to the bathroom). I understand that for the entire duration of the test sessions, the invigilators/examiners must at all times be able to verify the identity of a candidate, and that I will not wear sunglasses, headwear  or cover my face in any way. I understand that all identification documents need to be original.
9. I understand that in the case of another person being caught taking the test in place of the candidate registered for the exam, legal action can be taken against both the registered candidate and the person caught taking the exam. All relevant authorities (universities, immigration department etc.) may be informed of the situation and  the candidate’s account as well as the account of the person taking the exam will be fully suspended without any refunds
10. Skills Pass administration will take all necessary steps to keep candidates’ personal details anonymous and secure
11. I retain the right to request Skills Pass administration to erase without undue delay, the voice recording when the processing of said recording is deemed by Skills Pass administration  to be no longer necessary with regards to the processing, invigilation and evaluation of the Speaking Test.
12. I understand that requests for ‘Special Arrangements’ will only be taken into consideration if the request is accompanied by adequate medical reports or any necessary documentation as requested by the Skills Pass administration. I understand that the request is accepted only once written approval is received from Skills Pass administration  . 
13. I understand that all work produced by candidates while sitting for a Skills Pass exam, remains the property of the Skills Pass administration. I understand that no claims can be made of ownership of the material or requests for Skills Pass to release the material produced during the exam. Skills Pass administration will only release material to the relevant authorities in the case of a suspected malpractice investigation. 
14. I understand that no letter, email or other document will be issued by the Test Centre confirming attendance of an Skills Pass examination. 
15. I understand that Skills Pass examiners will not discuss results with me. I will be informed of my performance in writing within four weeks from the Examination session. The certificate will be issued  approximately six weeks after the Examination.
16. To guarantee the accuracy and integrity of Skills Pass test results, Skills Pass administration may decide to withhold issuing results 4 weeks after the test session, if there is suspicion of malpractice during the test session. The results may be withheld either temporarily or permanently, depending on the outcome of the investigation. In the case of an investigation being launched after test results and certificates being issued, Skills Pass administration reserves the right to cancel these results and revoke certificates if the investigation indicates that the results cannot be considered reliable. 
17. I understand that if I am suspected, or there is proof established of my engagement in any form of malpractice, Skills Pass administration may decide to permanently withhold issuing my result. I further understand that in this case, no claims can be made for the refund of any test fees. Skills Pass administration may also decide to prohibit me from taking Skills Pass tests in the future. 
18. I hereby acknowledge to have read the Skills Pass Notice to Candidates in its entirety, and agree to abide by all the rules and conditions contained therein.
19. Any candidate found attempting to re-register while serving a one month suspension following a failed examination will face immediate and permanent disqualification from Skills Pass without exception.
