Fees paid in the Skills Pass system are usually not refunded after access is given. This includes the Pre-Departure Course, exams, and Skills Pass bookings. Candidates should check all requirements before paying. Refunds are not given for failed exams, missed sessions, or if the candidate decides to stop.
If a candidate fails an exam or assessment, resit rules apply. The system allows a limited number of attempts. Each new attempt requires payment of a resit fee. The fee must be paid before the candidate can try again.
If a candidate fails many times, they may have to wait before trying again.
Extra fees may apply in some cases, for example, if a candidate misses a Phase 2 assessment and needs to rebook, or if they request more time where allowed. These fees must be paid before the next step.
All resits, rebookings, and extra payments are recorded in the candidate’s account. This keeps a full record of payments and actions.
