The Skills Pass system has an appeal process to ensure fairness and transparency. Appeals are not for unlimited attempts or to change rules. They are only for specific problems, such as technical issues or problems during the assessment. Appeals must be submitted through the system.
Candidates can submit an appeal only in allowed cases, such as exam interruptions or system problems. Appeals are not accepted for poor results, lack of preparation, or misunderstanding the exam. Each appeal is reviewed by authorised staff using system records, recordings, and notes.
The result of an appeal can be different. It may be rejected, approved with no change, approved with a change in result, or approved with a chance to retake the exam. All decisions are final and recorded in the system. Candidates are informed through the platform.
