How to Register an Account

What is the purpose of registration?

• User Authentication and Security: Registration ensures only authorised candidates can access certain features. Passwords and email verification improve website security.
• User Data Collection: Registration allows the collection of useful data (e.g. demographics and preferences) for analytics, marketing, and service improvement.
• Communication and Notifications: Registered candidates can receive personalised updates, notifications, and newsletters.
• Community Building: Registration enables participation in forums and discussions, helping build engagement among candidates.
• Transactions and E-commerce: Registered users can securely make purchases and complete transactions more easily.
• Content Access Control: Registration helps restrict access to specific content, such as training and exams.
• Account Management: Users can manage their details, update information, and recover passwords, improving convenience.
• Legal and Compliance: Registration supports compliance with data protection and privacy regulations where required.

What is the process of registration?

1. Use this link to go to the registration page: Candidate Registration

   

2. Select one of the following:
   • Non-EU / Still abroad : Choose this if you need to obtain a work permit to work full-time. You must choose this option even if you are already in Malta but do not have a valid work permit.
   • Summer Candidate : Choose this if you plan to study in Malta and want to work part-time. You will get a free Skills Pass for 6 months, which can only be used for part-time employment, not full-time work.

If you selected Non-EU / Still abroad proceed to step 3. If you selected Summer Candidate, proceed to step 4

When selecting Non-EU / Still abroad you will be presented with the following registration form:

3. Fill in the fields according to the following:
   • First Name – write your first name (given name)
   • Last Name – write your last name (family name)
   • Mobile Number – write your active phone number with country code (e.g. +356)
   • Birthday – write your date of birth (day/month / year)
   • Gender – choose your gender from the list
   • Personal Email – write a valid and active email address. You will receive a confirmation email after registration
   • Password – create a password (must be at least medium strength, use letters and numbers)
   • Repeat Password – type the same password again to confirm
   • Country of Origin – write the country shown in your passport
   • Country of Residence – write the country where you are living now
   • Passport Number – write your passport number exactly as shown in your passport
   • Passport Date of Issue – write the issue date from your passport
   • Passport Date of Expiry – write the expiry date from your passport (must be at least 3 months valid from the registration date)
   • Passport Scan – upload a clear scanned copy or photo of your passport (all details must be visible)
   • Language – choose your preferred language (this will be used in the system)
   • Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy – you must read and accept them to continue registration

When selecting Summer Candidate you will be presented with the following registration form:

4. Fill in the fields according to the following:
   • First Name - provide your first name / given name
   • Last Name - provide your last name/surname/family name
   • Birthday - provide your date of birth
   • School – The name of the institute where you will be carrying out your studies
   • Proof of being a Student – Here, you must provide a copy of your letter of acceptance from the institute or college you will be studying at
   • Email - provide an active and valid email address. A confirmation email will be sent to this email after registration to activate the account
   • Password - provide a valid password (must be at least medium strength)
   • Repeat Password - retype password for confirmation
   • Country – Here you can only select Malta
   • ID Card - upload a scan copy of your residency card or study visa
   • Language - Select a language of choice. This will be considered throughout the system.

   • Agree to the Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy - in order to proceed, you must read and accept the system’s Terms and Conditions

5. After filling in the fields with valid information, the Register button will be enabled. Click on it to proceed and finalise your registration. Once you click the Register button, you will be redirected to the following page:

   

6. After registering, you will receive the following verification email. Check your inbox and click on the link to activate your account
